  • Creativity and Pedagogy (SSHRC CRC and other funding). (2017-2020)
  • Prenatal Knowledge Exchange for Equity in Birthing Experiences and Outcomes (Women’s College Hospital Xchange Grant): Investigates the pre-natal education, experiences, needs, and challenges pregnant women in Northwestern Ontario face [Project #3]. (2014-2019)
  • Réseau de Savoir sur l’Équité | Equity Knowledge Network (Ontario Ministry of Education Grant). Northern lead: develops systemic, sustainable, and transformative equity networks, processes, and structures to mobilize research and community knowledge and practices for marginalized groups. (2018-2019)
  • Lakehead University Community-Based Research (SSHRC Connections Grant): In collaboration with the Lakehead Research Office, enable and develop innovative community-university partnerships. (2018-2019)
  • Material Culture and Teacher Identity Development (SSHRC Insight Development Grant). Three university sites collecting data on the teacher identity. The “Ma” book is an outcome of this project. (2015-2017)
  • The Anishinaabek Cervical Cancer Screening Study (CIHR Operating Grant). Large interdisciplinary research team aims to find culturally safe ways to promote cervical screening in 10 Indigenous communities.
  • Women and Methamphetamine Addiction and Recovery (Funded by American Nurses’ Foundation, Washington State University & Lakehead University). Large interdisciplinary team sharing the life stories of methamphetamine addicts in recovery. (2006-2016)
  • The Dementia Experience. Mapping the dementia journey (Funded by Eli Lilly Canada and the Alzheimer’s Society. (2015-2015)​Washington State University Museum of Art: Curator of online education. Curricular and Website Development. (2010 –2012)
  • ACE (Art for Children's Enrichment): A project developing curriculum and assessment for 4H programs across Washington State (2009 – 2012)  
  • Distributed Learning and Collaboration Network. An international network (curriculum, creativity, STEM, innovation). Director: Dr. Eric Hamilton (Funded by National Science Foundation, US Air Force, Pepperdine University, and International partners). (2007-2009)
