- Lakehead University Community-Based Research (SSHRC Connections Grant): In collaboration with the Lakehead Research Office, enable and develop innovative community-university partnerships. (2018-2019)
- Material Culture and Teacher Identity Development (SSHRC Insight Development Grant). Three university sites collecting data on the teacher identity. The “Ma” book is an outcome of this project. (2015-2017)
- The Anishinaabek Cervical Cancer Screening Study (CIHR Operating Grant). Large interdisciplinary research team aims to find culturally safe ways to promote cervical screening in 10 Indigenous communities.
- Women and Methamphetamine Addiction and Recovery (Funded by American Nurses’ Foundation, Washington State University & Lakehead University). Large interdisciplinary team sharing the life stories of methamphetamine addicts in recovery. (2006-2016)
